I feel most alive when...

I feel most alive when I am serving. I get so much energy from pouring out my efforts and helping others. I love to rush around, stay busy, and be productive, especially when my efforts help someone else. I also feel alive when I am outside. I love being in the mountains and on the lake. I really enjoy kayaking, hiking, and exploring new places. I feel alive when I am writing, and my thoughts connect with certain words that accurately describe what is going on in my mind.

A few of my life goals are...

I dream of living abroad one day (temporarily), particularly in Europe. I want to experience life in a big city and walk to my destinations each day. I would love to visit every continent and every state in the USA. I am hoping to become a professor and teach college students. I also want to have a family. I have always said that I want to have some of my writing published and become a New York Times best-selling author.

What connects me to my friends...

Some of my best memories of connecting with my friends have been when, late in the evening, my friends and I gather around a bonfire to sing and talk with one another about life and real, deep things. I love road trips and coffee shop visits and Face-time calls. I find that making others comfortable and engaging with them in meaningful conversation truly makes me feel connected to my friends.
